Yvonne writes about and photographs flora and fauna of Louisiana, sharing the knowledge she learned through study and personal experience.

Welcome to Naturally Native Creations

Nature and the outdoors have been my love since I was a small child. Any creature including cats, dogs, birds, insects, spiders, reptiles and fish are interesting to me. Gardening is one of my passions and art and photography are two more.

Our Zazzle gallery, Naturally Native Creations features nature related photographs and art work. Through it I am able to share my love of nature and the outdoors with the world. I made this page because I am proud of my photos and designs. My work there is also a great way to reach new people to impart the glory of the great outdoors, as well as the use of native plants in sustainable landscapes and environmental issues.

If You Love Nature, You'll Love Naturally Native Creations.

Most of the photos here were taken in and around our 9 acre habitat in Southeastern Louisiana. I hope you enjoy this glimpse of the plants and animals here.

This is our most favorite and, we feel, the most complete guide to identify butterflies. The photographs are excellent and information is complete.

Enjoy the Moment, Every Day

We have been photographing nature for over 35 years. Now that we are retired and with digital cameras, we are able to take more photographs than ever before. Each morning we and the dogs walk through the forest to the Tchefuncte River, filling up the bird feeders as we go. We usually take time to enjoy the beautiful sights and snap a few pictures.
